Sighthound Ezine Issue #1 – Design Preview!
Our very first ‘Sighthound’ digital magazine is being prepared for release! We are so excited about it that we thought we’d share a sneaky mini-design preview with you to celebrate Wet Nose Day, before our imminent launch – so here’s a selection of page spreads to give you an idea of what to expect.
We have loads of houndy things lined up including:
- Kevin the Whippet – Foto Booth Challenge Winner for Talk Like A Pirate Day
- Italian Greyhound Rescue – on puppy farming and rehoming Italian Greyhounds
- Bally Shannon – dog of war
- Levi – the little star of Scruples Whippet Rescue
And so much more! We are very proud of what we have achieved in such a short time, proud of all our wonderful contributors – and proud of course to have your fabulous support.
Please share our preview with hound lovers who might be Giddy about Greyhounds, Wild about Whippets, or Silly for Salukis. They can sign up for their free copy and learn about the great work that is being achieved every day for sighthounds everywhere.

I have 2 whippets I adore, and my dear old Rhodesian Ridgeback Frodo. So I just love hounds !
Glad to hear it! Wow a Ridgeback, they are such beautiful dogs too. Lovely temperaments.
i just love all things whippet!!
Us too! We are glad we can help to promote the work of Scruples Whippet Rescue, and whippets are so photogenic.
I like information about whippets because I have two males from the same parents but one is 1 st litter the other is 2 nd litter . They are 8 months apart and so jealous of each other but they love each other too . I think they will behave better once I get them neutered . They will both be 2 yrs end of November . Thanks
We are aiming to gather and share information about lots of sighthound breeds, and whippets have their own ways about them don’t they!
Watch this space and we will reveal more as we go. Meanwhile perhaps we can share your query on our Facebook page and see if someone might weigh in?
Loving all sighthounds. Recently lost our much loved whippet so enjoying all pics and news.
So sorry to hear that Patricia, it must be a very difficult time for you. Glad that promoting these lovely dogs may be helping a little right now.
My daughter got a beautiful whippet called Silas 2 years ago. I was never a dog person because I simply could not get near them due to allergies. However Silas has changed all that because he is the only dog I am not allergic to, must be his short haired coat. Silas is extremely cuddly, loving, beautifully natured, silly and funny. We all love him to bits. Then I found Scruples whippet rescue on FB, which is so informative. When I retire I would like to foster whippets and re home one. Can’t wait.
